IDUN

The goddess Idun keeps the Apples of Life. By eating these apples, all the gods and goddesses stay forever young.

Idun is married to the god Bragi the Peacemaker.

In one myth, Idun is tricked by Loki so that she and her apples are stolen away by the etin Thiassi, and the gods begin to grow old. This story is told in ‘The Apples of Life’, Chapter 6 of
Viking Myths: Stories of the Norse Gods and Goddesses.
